Day 333: Twas the Night Before Christmas

And Miss Lilybeth Mary was having sweet potatoes and sprinkles for dinner (and a little lasagna).

Apparently, it takes a lot of spoons to eat sprinkles.
And after dinner, it was time to Skype with the relatives in Australia, where Xmas had already arrived. Below, she's opening up her pressie from Auntie Em, Uncle Rob, and Cousin Sophie. It was a Princess Sweet Potatohead and a fairy costume. Such awesome gifts. Thanks so much, Vernon family!
Miss LB gettin' fairied-up:

Now that is very, very cute.
LB also opened her pressies from Nannie Annie and Grandpa Teddie: a new Wiggles DVD and some cool sneakers. LB wanted to put her new shoes right on (and you can see them in the photos above.) She also wanted to watch the Wiggles, but Mama and Papa said "no."
After presents, it was bath, story, and bed time. In the Lovejoy family, it's traditional to read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve.

And after Baby was in bed, it was time for a Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance Xmas Eve Tradition: watching our Xmas movies. Love Actually came out in '04, the year Tom and I were married, which means we've watched it every year of the Alliance. Die Hard is the more recent, Tom addition.
