Wednesday was a very long work day. I was up early, spent all morning grading, then attended a meeting, followed by lots of student conferences, taught my class at 5 PM, and finally, I arrived back home at 7 where I had an evening of more grading and lesson planning to look forward to. All day I felt like I was getting a migraine, so all I really wanted to do was take a nap. Of course, when I did arrive home, I saw my rosy-cheeked Lilybeth Mary, and I felt a million times better. G, who was watching Baby in the afternoon, taught her a new word: "butterfly." I guess we're moving into the multi-syllable words.
Obviously, Papa and I think she's very clever . . .
