All of today's photos come from G, who has been documenting Baby's visit. As always, it looks like there are some fun-times happenin' in Victorville.
Tom and I had a much quieter day. We woke up to rain, and I spent the morning working on my job letter. I'll be sending out my job applications starting early next month. I think I have ten colleges I'll be applying to around the country (three in California!) but may have more as more job announcements are posted. Keep your fingers crossed that I get an offer (or at least an invitation for an interview)! Around noon, Tom and I had a little lunch date at a nearby Vietnamese restaurant, Pho Vinam. A warm bowl of pho and some good company was perfect for a chilly afternoon. And I spent the rest of the day grading. I made it just over halfway through my stack of finals. I sometimes feel like the essays must breed with one another while I'm grading; the stack never seems to look any lower, no matter how many I grade.
