Day 327: Early Christmas Present

My little sister, Heidi, arrived from Ottawa today for a Christmas visit. As you can tell from my face in the photo above, I'm extremely happy about this. Unfortunately, I won't get much Heidi or LB time until Monday because they've both gone to stay at G and Grandpa's house for a couple of fun-filled days. Though I'm jealous, I do have plenty of work to get done, so I'm glad to have time for that.

LB took right to her auntie, and here the pair are checking out her iPhone.
And LB told her all about the Xmas tree.
Auntie Heidi didn't arrive until the afternoon, so LB had plenty of time to get into shenanigans around the house. This morning, she colored on the wall, and Papa scolded her. She dropped the lip and looked very pouty, and later I saw her trying to rub the marks off with a tissue. Oh, the little dear. Her scribblings came right off though with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Those erasers are great.
And, at breakfast this morning after eating all of her pear slices, LB looked at the empty, purple bowl and happily announced "Hat!" before putting it on her head. While she looked absolutely adorable, I was annoyed because Tom and I had given her a scrub down last night, including shampooing, conditioning, and combing out those blond locks. LB screamed through all three of these activities, and so I was not too excited by how sticky she made her hair. This is the look she gave me when I told her she was going to get another hair wash:
But, it was cold today, she's a little sick, and Tom had also left for work by the time of this incident, and I was in no mood to wash the hair by myself. So, I stuck a clip in it, and we had a very happy day.
