Day 329: Dinner for Two

Tom and I had been looking forward all day to the arrival of Heidi and LB and to our family dinner of fish, chips, and salad. But, as I'm sure many of my fellow Californians know, it rained all day, and as a result, the Cajon Pass was just too dangerous of a drive. For those of you who don't know, the Cajon Pass is the mountain pass between the High Desert (the region of CA where Victorville is located) and the Inland Empire (where Riverside can be found). So, we decided it was safest for G, Heidi, and LB to stay up in Victorville. Tom and I are definitely missing our wee love, but we're glad everyone is safe and warm tonight.

Since we didn't want the fish to go off, we fried it up for dinner anyway. It was delicious.
Chips with oregano and basil.
The handsome chef.
