Since it was over 100 again today, during LB's nap, I turned the air conditioner on in my and Tom's bedroom and did a bit of grading in there. And, after two hours, I'm a bit sad to announce that I graded 4 essays, which leaves me with . . . oh . . . about 40. When I was working on the course schedules for these classes, I sometimes scheduled the classes to turn their essays in during the same week, and I sometimes have them staggered so that I'll get one class's set of essays one week and the other class's the next week. But, as I sat down to grade today, I realized, it doesn't matter how I scheduled the essays, it's just going to be a lot of f*&king grading. And, when school starts at UCR at the end of this month, there will be even more grading. It's too exhausting to think about, but on the plus side, at least I have a job and at least I have a job I really do love.
LB relaxed on the couch this afternoon, watching her favorite show, Curious George, eating crackers, and drinking juice. It's good to be a kid, right? Check out that little chubbah thigh!
Oh! Curious George must be doing something exciting! What's going on, Lilybeth?
And for dinner, veggie korma. Divine!
