Day Seventy-Four: Open House

Today I had to go to campus to give a little talk (5 minutes) at the department's Open House. Basically, this is when all the students who have been given offers to enter the graduate program come to check it out and decide if they want to accept. It was right in the middle of the day and I needed to be there for an hour, so our friend Tomoko came over to watch LB. LB napped for most of the time but woke up 10 minutes before I got home. Tomoko said Baby was a little "confused" when she woke up but was very sweet. Maybe she is beginning to get over her stranger anxiety?

Auntie Sheila then came around lunch time and brought me some delicious food and even played with LB while I gobbled it down. It was so sweet seeing the little one play with her friend (see the picture below).

And finally G came this afternoon. Lilybeth was so excited to see Grandma. Now when G comes, she reaches her arms out and smiles at her. She loves playing with her G and getting to watch TV with her during dinner.

I love seeing LB interact with other people now. Oh, I'm so smitten with her. I love to see everything she does! As I was telling Sheila, she's quite the little distraction from my dissertation!
