Tom buzzed off his hair last night after the little tiger went to bed, and when she saw the results this morning, she seemed very confused. Who was this person who sounded like Papa and played the same games as Papa, but most certainly did not look like Papa?
In the picture below, we're trying to get her to let Papa hold her, but she's making her pre-tanty face. Tom and I think this is the funniest face: she screws her eyes shut, wrinkles her little nose, and lifts up her chin. She does this face when she's about to throw a fit. It's her way of saying, "You guys are making me mad!" So we see it when we're going to wash her face or when it's time to leave the park or when we don't pick out the right toy at play time. We don't laugh at her when she makes it, though it is hard not to sometimes! I mean, look at that little face!
At any rate, I think Tom looks very handsome with his short hair. 
As for the diss, the editing generally went well today. Last week, I printed up a copy of the chapter, and I've marked on the copy the places I want to edit to everyday (mostly shortish sections, as I was saying yesterday). I was nearly done with today's section, and I was feeling very pleased with getting the work done as I woke up with a nasty head cold and also LB wasn't going down for a nap, so I was distracted by her. Of course, this was when I realized that for some reason my computer or printer did not print up the entire chapter and there were actually five pages missing in my printed copy, right near the end of the section for today. And, since I printed two pages to a sheet, there were actually 10 extra pages of dissertation to be edited. Ugh. But regardless, I was determined for the section to be done, and I must say, I put in a good effort and NEARLY got the enormous piece done. I think there is one paragraph left, but that paragraph must be rewritten, and I have no energy left for that. All I can think about now is the hot chocolate Tom is making me.
