Her belly needed some more food (as she's telling us below):
Today was the end of her third week at daycare (so she's now been six times since she only goes two days a week). Pam told me that today was her best day. In fact, when I came to pick her up, Spiny and her pink blanket--her two beloved comfies--were alone in the corner while she was across the room looking at some other toys. On other days when G and I have picked her up, the two comfies have been very close. Also, Pam said today, when she announced to all the little ones that it was time for juice, LB came toddling over to her with her arms up asking to be picked up. My possum does love her juice.
It also seems she's making a little friend, two-year-old MacKenzie. Or MacKenzie is trying to befriend LB. Whenever LB is looking at a toy little MacKenzie comes over to sit by her and play with it also. And today, when LB and I were saying "bye-bye," MacKenzie came over. I held LB down to see her, and the two of them reached out and touched each other's little hands. It was so so sweet!
Pam also said they nearly got a little smile out of my baby today. Pam said she could see Lilybeth starting to crack, but Baby decided against it. I feel like LB has inherited a bit my personality in this respect--a bit slow in warming up to people, but she'll no doubt be very loving and steadfast once she does.
