We planted our last few marigolds this afternoon, and Lilybeth in the garden went exactly how I expected it would--very dirty, but very cute. Of course, she had to have a little sample of mud. Tasty?
And here she is toddling over with a fist full of mud for Mama.
I didn't put that bib on her because I thought I could keep her cleaner (that seems pretty hopeless), but she actually brought it over to me, asking me to put it on her. I love how she picks out little things she wants to wear now, like the extra-large hat last week at lunch. She is also really into wearing her shoes at the moment, and when we're just hanging around the house, she'll often bring them over to me so that I can put them on her.
