Today, Tom and I celebrated our sixth-year marriage anniversary. There was nothing too special about the day: I woke up at 5:30 with a nasty cold, LB and I were on the road by 6:45 AM, I taught from 8 - 10 AM and then worked at the school before heading home for some dissertation. But I did get this card, with a beautiful message written inside, from my husband, and we did share this very decadent dessert--bread pudding made with chocolate chips and some chocolate and vanilla ice cream on the side.
But of course everyday I get to spend with my Tom-kun is a special day, and I hope our little daughter one day finds someone who loves her so much.
