This fine Saturday afternoon found me over at my good friend Jung's parent's house where her family was having a summer bash. Jung's just stopping over in So Cal en route to Seattle, and I was glad for a chance to visit with her (that's 2x in one year!). Since I know that Jung is an avid reader of this blog (which just tickles me pink), I can let her know here that she is looking as gorgeous as ever, and I hope that her internship in Seattle is productive and fun and that I'm sure she'll be absolutely brilliant at it.
As is often the case when I go to Jung's, I was fed
spectacularly well. Her mom's an excellent cook and along with some tasty
miso soup, I also gobbled down some seasoned bean sprouts and
kimchi.
Mmmm, I love spicy food.

Jung's father and brother are both musically inclined, and the evening was going to end with a jam session, but I had to sneak out just as it was starting. I am sorry I missed it, but definitely glad to have seen Jung and her family.
Things were not so great for LB today. She seems to have developed a cold and this afternoon, Mama and Papa could do no right by her--we didn't play the right games, make the right dinner, etc, etc. She needs her grandma who always knows what Baby wants. G is away this weekend, helping to move my brother Daniel to Oakland where he starts a new job next week. Congrats, Daniel! Make it home safe, G!
I am tickled pink that I made it on your blog!! Sorry to hear about LB, hope she felt better today :)
