This afternoon, Grandpa Teddie took us to see a mob of kangaroos (a group of kangaroos is also know as a herd or troop; I looked it up on wikipedia). There were about 14 or 15 of them. I thought they were beautiful and majestic; Lilybeth was mostly interested in pointing at them.Where are the 'roos, Lilybeth? Up there? . . .
Lilybeth also had a little test drive of cousin Sophie's push bike. Nannie and Grandpa are going to give her one for her first birthday, so I'm glad she liked it so well. I took her for a long walk on it around the block, and when we returned she didn't want to get off, so Papa took her for one, too!
She didn't use the handlebar to hold on but instead held on to the streamers. Too cute!
And finally, we had another delicious homemade meal from Annie. On tonight's menu, korma veggies and a leek and mushroom quiche. Yum!
