Day 120 (Tuesday, 5/25): City Trek

Having slept for about 12 hours, I was feeling much better this morning, and so the L-F Alliance packed itself up and went to the Queen Victoria Market before LB's 10:30 nap. It was a great outdoor market selling all sorts of produce and cheap goods. We bought the miss a little noisemaker, but it broke about an hour later. Quality.

After LB's nap, the rain was coming down pretty strong, so we holed up in the hotel room for a couple of hours until we got a bit stir crazy and ventured out. At least the rain broke soon after we headed out, and we ended up walking around for about two hours, making a long trek out to the suburb of Brunswick to meet up with Tom's friend Cal. I can definitely feel the walk in my legs now.
Cal took us out to a pub where Tom enjoyed some kangaroo fillet. LB and I had fish because we weren't going to eat a poor little kanga.
