Stay Hummus Hole

There is no doubt about it: Lilybeth Mary rules the roost. This morning, she and I were playing in her room, and Sesame Street was finishing up on the TV in the living room. When Elmo came on, LB decided she wanted to watch the show and got up to head into the living room. However, as she was exiting her room, she turned around, pointed at me, and said "Stay!" Wow. Really? Wow.

But at least LB still listens to Mama and Papa sometimes. For example, she's always curious about good things to eat, and so tonight we introduced her to hummus. She had a good helping of it and an even bigger helping of flatbread. I think she ate one whole piece by herself. That's a growing girl for you.
And finally, as LB was enjoying her flatbread, she folded a piece over and bit a little hole in it. She then stuck her finger through the hole and happily announced "Hole!" Tom and I had no idea that she knew the word "hole." Honestly, I had no idea that she knew the word "stay." She never ceases to amaze us.

  1. At first I thought the title meant LB's "hummus hole" since she ate a whole piece of flat bread with the generous helping of hummus! Glad to know she likes the classics: Sesame Street and Hummus!
