No, No, Pup!

Miss LB seemed to be feeling better this morning. She had a bit of a runny nose but seemed well enough to make the trip to Victorville for the dog show. In fact, she was very eager to get dressed, get her shoes on, and get out the door, especially as G and I kept describing the wonders of the show, like the giant dogs (see above) and dogs wearing strange shirts (see below).
But by the time she arrived at the show, things had taken a turn, and she had no interest in the pups.

She did not want to say "hi" to the pups; she mostly just wanted to come home and do this. . .
take a nap on Mama.
Poor darling. If she had been feeling herself, she would have LOVED seeing all those dogs. I hate seeing my little possum feeling so poorly.

And as she was going to bed tonight, just on the verge of falling asleep, she was whispering to herself, "No, no, pup." She must have been dreaming about a naughty pup. I read somewhere (or maybe I heard on NPR) that until they are six, children mostly dream about animals. My little LB, always thinking about the pups.
