Today's picture was actually taken last night while Tom and I were folding the laundry and watching the telly (yah, 30 Rock!) Tom kept holding up LB's little clothes and saying things like, "I can't believe how tiny these pants are! They are so cute!" It was very sweet.And here's LB reading her little board books. Tom and I read that at about this age, babies start to become interested in books, especially books with simple, bright pictures and with pictures of other babies. LB seems to also like this book with pictures of smiling animals. I've been trying to read to her every evening now right before she eats her dinner. I really enjoy cuddling on the couch with her, looking at the books, and chatting about them. This evening she was trying to turn the pages and seemed particularly interested in her book about colors that includes pictures of food (perhaps because I was pointing out all the food she's tried so far!) She also wanted to eat the panels in her pop-up book.
