Lilybeth loves to raise up her little fist. She's quite the mini revolutionary, I guess! I can't figure out what she means. She does it when she meets people, and tonight she was doing it while I fed her dinner. I'd give her a big bite, and she'd give me her little salute. It was so funny and sweet, I couldn't help but laugh. We had a beautiful February day, sunny and crisp. It really feels like spring now and looked like spring with some of the trees in bloom. It was so gorgeous out, Lilybeth and I took two walks. Sometimes we're very spoiled living in So Cal.
So it's the ninth day, and I've been meeting my goal every day of posting something. I'm also currently writing a chapter for the dissertation that I'm hoping to finish by April 1st. I'm planning on working on this chapter for the next couple of weeks, and then I'll need to switch gears for a couple of weeks to work on a paper I'm presenting at a conference in the beginning of March. After the conference, back to the chapter. At any rate, I've decided that in order to post something on here, I need to write at least one page that day on the chapter. If I don't write that page, then that day's post will be postponed until the next day (in other words, I'll do two posts the next day). Hopefully, I won't get too much of a backlog, though I have to admit I'm a terribly slow writer. I'm just meticulous! We'll see how this goes. Wish me luck!
