I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
I loafe and invite my soul,
I lean and loafe at my ease observing a spear of summer grass.
So this afternoon, I enjoyed the little "spears of summer grass" around me such as my wondrous daughter peeking out at us from under her stroller's sunshade and making us laugh.
On our Sunday afternoon walk, we also stopped at the community garden, a bright green spot in all that So Cal brown (though, having grown up in So Cal, I have to say the desert brown obviously has its own beauty).
The little cherry tomatoes starting to ripen were so pretty.
And of course there is nothing more spectacular than my little family, which is not really a little thing in life, but is, of course, everything. (And I can't help but love Papa and Baby in their matching Angels tees!)
