Well, it was back to Riverside for us today. We were up at 4 AM and left Grandma's house at 5:30 AM to make our 9 AM flight out of Portland; we were back home by noon. LB took a long nap, Tom did a bit of tidying up, and I went off to the university to have office hours and teach. This week is the last week of classes at UC Riverside! Woot! And only two weeks of classes left at MSJC! Woot! Of course there's still finals' week and the grading to drudge through.LB seemed very happy to be home. She was especially excited to see her toys. I put her in her crib for her afternoon nap and as I was leaving the room, I saw her sitting up, looking through the crib's slants, and staring intently at her toys. Even though she was exhausted from the early start and the flight, Tom and I heard her chatting away in her room for a good twenty minutes before she finally fell asleep. I'm sure she was in there talking to her toys.
And we're one tired family this evening. In today's photo, Tom's giving LB a good-night cuddle. I'm gonna do a little work, and then it's nighty-nighty for me too.
