Day 306 (Saturday, 11/28): The Oly Club

On Saturday, after putting LB down for her nap, Tom, John, and I snuck off to The Olympic Club (or the Oly Club as the young locals call it) to have lunch with some of John's friends. The Oly Club is a Centralia institution and is also part of the McMenamins pubs and breweries.
Which means they serve up some good beers (and I also thought some good coffee!)
A couple of hip, young things at the Oly Club.
Centralia is the small town next to Rochester, WA. Centralia has a community college, and in a perfect world, I would get a job at Centralia College and live in one of the quaint little houses near downtown. Downtown Centralia is adorable:

John's friends own an amazing furniture store in this downtown, historical building:

G.G. loved babysitting LB, and after LB woke up from her nap, the two of them had a fun play together.

The photo below, however, is a pre-nap and pre-lunch photo. We took LB for a little walk because there was finally a break in the rain. LB insisted on walking by herself and on pushing her own stroller. Of course, the first thing she did was sit down in a puddle. Unfortunately, she was wearing her only clean pants, and so while her pants dried, Tom put some of his socks on her legs to keep them warm. Very cute. And very inventive, Fordham.
