Sadly, today was our last day at Gramme's. I seriously think our trip to Rochester should be more than an annual thing. I'm thinking maybe a trip back in the spring after the diss is finished and waiting for the committee's approval . . .
We started off our last day with a very chilly and brisk walk down the Black River. LB fussed most of the time and I got scared by a pack of dogs, so it was a very short trip.

Today, G.G. and LB also got in their last little play sessions.

And G.G. cooked us up a big pot of potato soup. Here's the hammy version:

And the veggie version:

She also made some homemade bread. Yummy! I had a stuffed belly after this dinner.

LB enjoyed the good eats.

And after dinner it was time to say the last good-nights of this trip.

And after LB was all tucked in, Tom and I got into our last little treat of the trip: a couple of pie slices from Berry Field, another great Centralia eatery.
We had the strawberry rhubarb with Amish crumble,

and the lemon sour cream.
