On Sunday, with no LB around, Tom and I had a day as a "childless" couple. Well, thinking of ourselves as childless is completely impossible and undesirable now, a fact that was highlighted on our afternoon date, when we stopped by the shop and bought the young lady her Xmas present from Mama: a Tickle Me Elmo. Tom wants to get her one of those classic, yellow Tonka trucks to push around and transport her blocks, crayons, etc. I hope they're still made; we couldn't find one yesterday.So we were both missing our baby very much on our date, and she was the biggest topic of our lunchtime conversation. But it was nice to have a date and go out to the movies. We saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Tom's choice. I'm not big on the Harry Potter books, but I do love going to the movies with my honey.
