Day 290 (Thursday, 11/11): Happy Veterans Day

First, I want to send out a big Veterans Day thanks out to my dad, Mike, and my little brother, Michael. Thanks for your service. Love you guys!

We had a cold and windy Veterans Day in Riverside, and so LB and I started it off with a cuddle on the couch.

We also had an appointment to get LB's Xmas photos taken. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures because the sitting was terrible. The photographer expected Miss LB to stand still on a red dot while she photographed her. It seems this woman had never met a toddler before. She also kept answering the phone during our session, which was completely unprofessional and also meant that Tom and I had to keep LB from running away and/or destroying the studio while she took care of other customers. At least we didn't have to pay for the sitting, but, disappointingly, we have no Xmas pictures. And she looks so sweet in her Xmas dress.
The dress is from Japan and was a gift from our friends, the Yoshizawas.
After we returned from the session, we cooked up a big batch of pumpkin cookies. Baking up pumpkin cookies in November is a Lovejoy family tradition that is now becoming a Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance tradition.
LB loved having her first pumpkin cookie.
The pictures today have also highlighted an unfortunate fact: LB is well overdue for a first haircut. Noooooo!!!
