Day 185: Navel Gazing

LB has discovered her bellybutton, which she finds unbelievably fascinating. At various moments throughout the day, she would lift up her dress to get a little peak and poke at it.

Today, my little one and I went to my hometown of Victorville to visit the mechanic and have lunch with Grandpa. Below, she's patiently waiting for her sausage, eggs, and pancakes at IHOP.
And, while we were waiting for the car, I also test drove a Toyota Rav4. Tom and I have decided to purchase a second car. While we've loved being a one car family, it's no longer practical with our third little passenger. I did like the Rav4. I thought it would be too boxy and feel too cumbersome to maneuver, but actually it was very fun and easy to drive. And Tom and I have loved our little Toyota Corolla, so the Rav4 might not be a bad choice, but there are a couple more cars I want to test drive before we make a final decision.

  1. I didn't realize you were from Victorville. Yay for the California desert! :-)

Oh, and I love my Rav 4. I've had it since 2000 and I can't say enough wonderful things about it!

  2. i love my Nissan x-trail -not sure if you have them over there, but very comparable to the Rav...and these little svu's are awesome with kids, you dont have to bend down to get them in & out, and it holds loads in the boot.
