Day 169: Everything's Rosy

Our new place has a rose bush near the front door, and it brings LB and G endless amusement. G likes to bring her clippers from work to prune it, and many a times, I've come home from work to find rose petals scattered everywhere because LB has been attacking flowers. The poor bud above has no idea what's in store for it.
And all is rosy with the Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance. There's about two weeks left of summer session, and hopefully about two weeks left of breastfeeding as well. LB seems to enjoy the milk-cereal combo, and in fact she even had a sippy cup of milk before her nap today. I think 13 months must be a good age for weaning because it seems she's already, after two days, started associating the milk cup with nap/bedtime. This evening, she had a cuddle in my lap while she had her milk and when she was done with her cup, she started pulling on my shirt, looking for a "tee-tee." She nursed very briefly, and then I put her in her crib where she cuddled up with Wooly Cat and went to sleep.
