Day 161: Out to Lunch

Today we had some very special visitors, my youngest brother, Donald, and his lovely girlfriend, Kim. They're quite the good-looking couple, don't you think? It's not often that we get to see them as they both work, attend school, and are now training for their college's cross-country team. In fact, before they came to visit us, they went on a four-mile run! These are some hardworking young people (I can call them young people because Donald is twelve years my junior.) In observance of the 4th of July holiday, we all had today off work, and we were happy they spent some of their day off visiting us.

We took them to one of our favorite Riverside restaurants (and a choice I'm sure my father-in-law will appreciate), The Crest Cafe.
When we were younger, I used to be saddened by the thought that my adorable and sweet little brother would one day grow-up to be a man. But he's such a smart, caring, and driven individual, I can't help but be immensely proud of him.
