The weaning continues, and I've decided, since she seems so adverse to cow's milk, that LB's pre-bed snack will be a yogurt cup. The next feeding to go will be the bedtime one, and I read that it's good to introduce the new bedtime food/drink a week before the mama's milk is cut out, so this evening, after her bath, we turned on her bedtime music, and she sat on her nursing pillow, cuddled under her favorite blankie, and ate some yogurt. She loved the baby on the container and kept pointing at him/her, and I think she may have been trying to say "baby!" I thought she was getting too excited by the snack and the other baby, but after eating about half of the cup, she tried to crawl into my lap for a cuddle. She knew it was time for bed. She nursed for about a minute and then seemed uninterested in drinking anymore, so I said "goodnight," put her in the crib, and left the room. She fussed for about five minutes and then was asleep. I just went to check on her, and she was cuddled down cozily with her Wooly Cat.
So the weaning is coming along nicely, and I'm looking forward to enjoying a big glass of wine again!

And one more picture. This morning, LB played in her basket with her stuffed animals for nearly an hour! She just sat there quietly examining each one thoroughly before throwing it out of the basket. She was so focused on the task! I didn't think babies could play quietly on their own for so long!
