The paper I'm proudly displaying above is my dissertation sign-off sheet. It now has three signatures which means that my dissertation has been approved!! That's right folks, my dissertation is done!Well, there is still a little housekeeping to be done on it: I need to give it one last thorough proofread, finish up the abstract, format it, send it off for formatting review, and once the formatting review is finished, submit the final draft to UCR's graduate division. But now that my committee has approved it, everything else seems completely minor, especially after the stress of waiting to see if it would be approved. I need to submit it to grad division, by 8/26, but I'm hoping to finish up two weeks early and get it in by 8/12, so that I can stop thinking about it, at least for a little bit.
And here are a few more pictures of the Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance enjoying UCR's campus. No doubt this was one of our last walks around the school.
LB made the most of the walk when she found this big stick / branch. All of these pictures of her with said stick are probably unnecessary, but they really make me laugh!
"Look what I found, Mom!!"
Riding the branch like a horsey.
Going in for a closer exam.
"Oh, no! It's stuck!!"
"Here, Mom. Can you hold this for a second?"
"Now it's yours, sucker!"
"Hee, hee, hee."
And these next few photos are left over from our road trip last weekend.Tom being a goofball.
And a beautiful sunrise on the Port Angeles waterfront.
