Weekend Roundup

We hope everyone had a good weekend. As always, LB enjoyed hers, though
she did have to say "good-bye" to two of her favorite visitors ever: Uncle Sam and Auntie Heidi, who returned to Canada on Saturday. As always, we are missing them.

LB's good-bye photo with the Adams family. This time next year, Heidi and Sam will have their own little bubbah to be photographed! That's right, Auntie Heidi is going to be Mama Heidi and Uncle Sam will be Papa Sam! Baby Adams is due at the end of February, and we can't wait to meet him / her!

And on Sunday, LB and I went to a puppy shower! My friend Ness just adopted a pure breed Aussie sheep dog and was having a little party to welcome him to the family. LB was very excited about the party, in part because she thought it was actually a birthday party for a pup. She even picked out this pretty dress to wear to the party and on the car ride to Ness's house she practiced singing "Happy birthday to you pup! Happy birthday to you pup!"
The party included games like "Pin the collar on the pup," and LB took a turn. Nice try, kid.
