On Saturday night, we had dinner with our dear friends Will and Leona. Tom and I love spending time with them, but unfortunately it hasn't happened much (and will happen even less now that we're moving).
Lilybeth also loves to visit them because she's the center of attention and because they have a beautiful gray cat,
Nimbu. Unfortunately,
Lilybeth's great love for
Nimbu is not returned, and kitty-cat only made a brief appearance last night.
Leona cooked up a great meal of veggie
lasagna and a salad that mostly contained veggies from her garden. As an
appetizer we had slices of French bread and some of these various spreads that Leona and Will just brought back from a recent trip to the Provence region of France. It was very nice of them to share their treat with us, especially since
Lilybeth decided to wipe her share on her socks, not her bread. But she made up for her wasting of good French food by playing us some lovely tunes on the piano.
