That piece of paper above makes it all official: I am Helen Marie Lovejoy, Doctor of Philosophy! Today I turned in my properly formatted dissertation, filled out the necessary paperwork, and received my certificate of completion. I'll get my official diploma in five to six months.
The Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance went out for a celebratory ice cream. I got the new Coldstone flavor--lemon poppy seed--and LB had strawberry. Yum!
And LB had a celebratory run in the fountain. I can't decide if her new pup shirt is cute or creepy.
