Happy Easter, My Peeps!

As with most of my holiday posts, this one is chock-full of pictures, and that's because, as with most of our holidays, it was fabulous and happy, and I can say that Ms. LB's second Easter was much more fun than the first. That's of course because she has a better idea now of what is going on. For example, when she saw Mama and Papa show up in Victorville this morning carrying a basketful of goodies, she immediately knew that the goodies were for her and got straight to business digging through the basket and examining her prizes.
The tea set, just as I suspected, was a big hit.

After her Easter presents were well played with, it was time for the egg hunt. On Easter eve, LB and Donald painted up the eggs.
And on Easter morning, Donald hid them in the yard along with a few plastic eggs filled with cereal and candy.

Since he was hiding them for a two-year-old, most of the "hiding" places were in plain sight.

Papa helped her down the stairs so that the hunt could begin.
I love today's dress-and-boot combo. She's my little country girl! The dress is courtesy of Auntie Em in Oz. Thanks!

And the menfolk were of course out to help and supervise. Here, Papa gave LB a hint.
Donald posed with Mom's Earth Day apricot tree.
And Grandpa found an egg and ate it.
LB's haul:

After the hunt, we headed out to G's favorite restaurant, Red Robin's, where we had a few more photo opts.
