It turns out that since I now have a job lined up for the fall, I must really and truly finish my dissertation. This is some very depressing news, especially considering how gorgeous and springy R'side is at the moment. At least I can work on my dissertation outside. Though being outside does not make dissertatin' much more fun.And at least it is Sunday, which is always a great day for some Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance Family Time. And so LB got all dressed up in her "shortalls" (a first b-day present from our friends Matt and Tomoko) . . .
. . .and we enjoyed an early-ish dinner at California Pizza Kitchen.
Tonight we also had an LB first: she put her jammie shirt on by herself (with just the smallest bit of help from Papa). Here she is picking out a book for bedtime.
