Today, Lovejoy-Fordham 365 presents the four stages of Lilybeth Mary waking up from her nap.
Stage One: "Grrrrr. I thought you were going to be somebody else! I don't want to play with you!"

Stage Two: "Well . . . maybe we can play a little game of peek-a-boo."

Stage Three: "Oh, you're not so bad."

Stage Four: And bouncing!

And there is little to report from the L-F Alliance. I spent the week dissertating and teaching, Tom working, and LB doing what LB does best--generally being sweet and funny. I found out my schedule for Peninsula in the fall: I'll be teaching one class online and two classes that meet Tues-Fri, one from 10:20-11:20 and one from 1:30-2:30. Mondays are for meetings and planning. I'm looking forward to the fall,
and I'm very glad it's the weekend. LB is staying at G and Grandpa's house, where she is painting Easter eggs, riding ponies, and possibly tormenting small rabbits. She's spending three nights at their place, and while I miss my big girl something fierce, G and Grandpa have to get all of their baby time in before the big move north. Tom and I had a very quiet night in. Yours truly ate two pieces of cheese-filled, deep dish pizza,

drank a glass of vino,

and topped it all of with some Rocky Road ice cream. Meanwhile, my sensible husband ate 1/2 of a slice, drank some water, and went to bed early. I should get to bed too. I'll be up at 6 AM for what will no doubt be a day filled with dissertatin' magic.
I love that your vino photo is blurry....
