Giggling Girl

Miss Lilybeth seemed to have a serious case of the giggles this afternoon. Here she is at lunch laughing and playing peek-a-boo with me.

After lunch, I put her down for her nap, but I could hear her chatting away to herself in her room. She kept saying, "Up! Up!" followed by hysterical giggling. "Up! Up!" and more giggling. I was tempted to have a little peek at what was so funny but decided against disturbing her during her "quiet time," and eventually she fell asleep.

I think she was happy for a day at home today. She went to daycare Tuesday-Thursday this week, and, as much as we love Miss Pam, three days straight is just too much for the wee girl. I could tell she was a bit weary of it all when I dropped her off yesterday. Though, of course, when I went to pick her up, she had no intention of leaving and to prove her point, she put Spiny in the baby's bouncer and looked very busy bouncing him when I told her it was time to go home. But this morning, she was definitely happy to lounge around in her pj's and watch Sesame Street while cuddling on Mama's lap. And afterward, we enjoyed a little sunshine in the park.
There's not much news to report here. I still haven't heard back about my interview with Delta. I was told I'd hear back this week, but the week is over and no word. I don't know if this is a good omen, a bad omen, or absolutely no kind of omen at all.
