Brrrrrrrrr!

It looks like a bit of snow did stick overnight in Victorville. Wheelbarrow and LB were happy to check it out from the comfort of indoors,
but poor Donald had to head off to work!
Poor kid! I hope he at least got to enjoy one of G's pancakes, as LB is doing here with all of the stuffed animals.
Once again, I spent most of my day in basement of the UCR library. The weekend is definitely the only time I like to work at the library--it's very, very quiet, unlike during the week when it's overrun by undergrads (nothing against the undergrads; there are just a lot of them). In fact, for most of the afternoon, my only company (besides my dissertation) was some guy ambling up and down the aisles of law journals, pulling books off of the shelves, and sighing loudly to himself. I hope he found what he was looking for.

The basement, by the way, was freezing!! It was cold outside and it felt like the air conditioning was blasting inside. I only wore my denim jacket because I didn't think it could possibly be very cold indoors. I considered moving upstairs to a heated level, but I kind of liked my forced isolation and the austere and unpleasant conditions. Keeps the mind lively!
