LB had herself a great little Saturday. She was up bright and early this morning because she was going with G to a rabbit show to visit with Grandpa. One of the best things about going to a rabbit show is getting a take-out breakfast to eat in the car. Pancakes, bacon, eggs, and a juice bottle . . . Looks good, LB!
And here she is sitting up on the judge's table with Grandpa.

"Grandpa! There are some nice rabbits over there!"

Elmo also joined in the fun. It was a bit chilly this morning, so LB wisely advised Elmo to wear the pink fuzzy vest.

Elmo and LB made themselves a little friend,

but they still spent a few quiet moments alone, talking about life and looking at the water.

While LB, G, and Elmo were enjoying the show, Tom was off to work, and I spent the morning finishing up an application and doing the laundry. When they returned, it was time for G to go home and for LB to have a nap, but although she seemed sleepy and she drank up her sippy cup of milk, once I put her in the crib and shut her bedroom door, she must have had a little burst of energy because she spent the next hour chatting away with Woolly and Spiny. At the end of the hour, I gave up, plucked her out of the bed, and we set off to take care of some errands: a haircut for LB and the grocery shopping for our little Superbowl gathering tomorrow.
Here's LB when we left the shopping center.

And here she is five minutes later when I pulled up to our house. She had a lollipop after her hair cut, which is why her face is so sticky.

Here she is a minute later when I carried her into the house.

I'm usually against a late afternoon nap, but she looked so sweet, I couldn't wake her. Plus, I have a chapter due in 23 days, so after I put the groceries away, I got about 15 minutes of work in before Tom came home and we decided it was time for her to get up. She was not happy with us at all, but at least she was in bed by 8 tonight.
And, finally, here's the hair.
that crashed out bed photo is the cutest of all! she looks so zonked.
