Day 350: Bubble and Squeak

Now that Tom's weekend is on Sunday and Monday, I'm afraid his days off will be very quiet. I was gone both days, spending most of Sunday at the library working on my dissertation and most of today in my office preparing to teach. Tom's day was filled with stickers, chalk drawings, juice cups, raisins, and the perpetual activity of locating Spiny, Woolly, and Bink.

At least the Alliance joined up for dinner. On today's menu was fish (fish sticks for LB), steamed veggies, and bubble and squeak made from some leftover roasted potatoes and yams.
I gave LB a little ketchup to dip her fish sticks in; I thought she might feel more in control of her own meal if she could decide to dip or not to dip. LB went wild with this bit of independence and decided instead to eat nothing but the ketchup. At least she used a spoon. And at least she seems to be feeling better.
