A bit of an early post today, but the Internet is working, LB is sleeping, and I just finished prepping for my class this afternoon. I thought I would have a little break and do my posting before I started in on my next job application. LB and I spent a fun morning together. I honestly can't remember the last time I took her to the park. It's been so rainy and she was off at G's or daycare so much over the break that I never had the chance. But we had some good weather today and lots of her friends were at the park, so it was a perfect morning to get in some play time. Of course, before we made it to the park, she had to examine this pile of leaves.
We were at the park for about two hours when one of her little friends got a juice box. LB followed him around, wondering if she could have just a wee sip. She was very polite, asking "Please? Please? Please?" But he said, "No," and I said, "No," and she just could not take the injustice of it all, and so the tears started to flow, and it was time for us to leave the park. I probably should have put these next two photos first because they are of LB getting ready for the park. She wanted to wear Papa's beanie today.
She even put it on by herself.
