"The stockings were hung by the chimney with care"

 

One of the many pleasures of having a fireplace is having a mantel to hang the stockings on. Lilybeth, who's pretending to be a bunny, is posing with the stockings that Annie made for us.

After we finished hanging the stockings, Lilybeth said, "Santa's coming tomorrow." I replied, "No, he's not coming for another week." Lilybeth's reply: "Yeah, Mama, you probably right."
