The Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance has been having a great visit with my younger brother John (the fifth of the six Lovejoy children) who is on summer break from Western Washington University.
We started our visit off with a trek around downtown Olympia, Washington's capital city. First stop, a Jewish deli where John enthusiastically enjoyed a pastrami and mustard sandwich.
This close-up shot is for Tom, who loves a pastrami and mustard sandwich.
I love this photo of LB at the kiddies' table:
After lunch, we headed over to the children's museum, where LB pretended to be a bus driver:
A chef:
And a doctor:
"Hurry! We need to get this baby to the hospital! Fast!"
Performing some life-saving, emergency care:
On Sunday, we stopped by Arts in Action, a sand-sculpting contest held yearly in PA. The theme this year was Hollywood, and my favorite sculpture depicted a scene from The Dark Knight Rises.
Though I also liked this one from Metropolis.
Charlie Chaplin!
Sasquatch!
Down along the pier was a Porsche show. I coveted this little number from the 1970s.
But the 2013 model was on sale for $80,000.
On Monday, John, LB, and I headed down to Salk Creek so that LB could show her uncle the tide pools.
And finally, since Tom and I are trying to take more videos of little darling, here's one of her playing in the sand at Hollywood Beach.
Love the budding videography and film directing skillz! So nice to hear everyone's voices too! Much love, J
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jung! I was just watching it, and I felt a bit embarrassed! My voice is so high-pitched!
