Crab Fest

This weekend was the annual crab fest down at the pier in Port Angeles. Tom and I figured we had better make an appearance and get into the hometown pride! Foolishly, however, we showed up with full bellies. We're not necessarily big fans of crab, but there were lots of yummy food booths (crepes, pie, grilled corn-on-the-cob, ice cream! lots of ice cream! fried goodies) and we didn't have one little morsel! So lame!

We did, however, see an interesting demonstration about some local rescued birds, enjoy the views down at the pier, and
contribute to the sidewalk artwork.
After the Fest, we stopped by the park, where Miss LB had her own little Pine Cone Fest.
And in the evening, it was time for a little puzzle making,
and dinner. On tonight's menu, whatever leftovers need to be eaten out of the fridge. Here's LB's share of the hodgepodge: cornbread, cherry tomatoes, cantaloupe, turkey slices, and Pad Thai.
