Another Week Gone . . .

and it has been a busy one here in Port Angeles. I've been putting in 9 - 10 hour days at the college and then coming home to work for another 2 hours after Baby is in bed. Things have been hectic, but I'm enjoying my job, and I figure I'll be working shorter hours once I get the hang of things.

And Tom has been enjoying his job, taking excellent care of LB, me, and the house.

And tonight's photos highlight a bit of the cuteness that has been going on around here this past week.

These first two photos are from early in the week. Tom and I were in the kitchen making dinner, and LB was in her room playing. We noticed, however, that things got very quiet, and when we went to check on her, we found that she had left her room, gone into our room, clambered up into our bed, tucked herself in, and was happily reading a Thomas the Tank Engine book.
Next up, a little bath time gorgeousness.

This week LB also started up at her new daycare, Sunshine Preschool. She'll be going Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM - 1 PM. In these next two photos, she's showing off the sunflower she made at school. She was very, very proud of it and held on to it all through dinner.

And, this very afternoon, what was waiting for Miss Lilybeth on the front porch?! Another package from G!! The excitement was uncontainable!
G is going to be here in 11 days, and she could have easily brought the little gifts with her, but of course she couldn't help herself and had to send them instead. I'm sure she won't regret her decision when she sees this face:
It's the I'm-so-happy-I-can't-smile-any-bigger smile!

And here, she poses in the new sweatshirt G sent. LB was very pleased with it and wanted to put it on immediately. She's sticking her belly out to make sure that we can all see the kittah in glasses!
