Happy Trees!

When Tom and I went to get LB up this morning, this is the scene we found. She had pulled a coloring book and crayon from her toy bucket into her crib, and when I asked her what she was drawing, she said, "Happy trees."

I think she's a bit big to still be in her crib, but we decided we'd wait until after we moved to convert it into the little toddler bed. That way when she gets her new room, at least she'll still have her same old crib and so hopefully the adjustment will go smoothly. I also figure we'll have to convert it to the toddler bed if she climbs out of the crib, which she still hasn't done yet. I have a feeling that if she wanted to climb out, she probably could.

And, again this past week, she decided that she was not going to have her usual nap, and so again, this is what happened in the early evening . . .

And yesterday, I sent off the complete rough draft of my dissertation! That doesn't mean it's done yet, but it is definitely getting closer!
