I love the little mismatched outfit LB wore today. It's pure childhood. When else would someone put together such a fabulous ensemble? In the photo above, she's picking out a piece of fruit for her post-nap snack. Of course, she didn't actually eat any of her pear because she was so excited by some expired coupons I gave her. But who wouldn't be excited by that?Little Missy only napped for about an hour today. Unfortunately, I need her to have a nice, long nap on Mondays and Wednesdays. On M and W, I need to get to campus by 3:30 PM for office hours and class, and G usually arrives at about 3:25 PM to watch the young lady. When LB is napping, from about 12 - 2:30 / 3:00-ish, I finish up last minute things for class and get dressed. Today, after I put her down, I graded one final essay and then hopped in the shower. When I got out of the shower, however, I could hear LB in her room having a lively conversation with Woolly and Spiny. Needless to say, I was very grateful today for The Wiggles and their magical, toddler-distracting DVD.
