Day 264: Such and Such

Today, I received my b-day pressie from my lovely hubby: a very nice and rather pricey conditioning treatment for my hair. My hair stylist, Ariel, had been talking up the treatment for a while, telling me that it would help tame all my frizzies and the little fly-aways that drive me crazy. Ariel calls the fly-aways "baby curls," which is sweet but does not change the fact that they are little bits of hair around my hairline that will not cooperate under any styling circumstances. The treatment made for a very luxurious and decadent b-day gift, as there is no way I would usually get something like this, especially as it only lasts for a couple of months (Ariel said this will last for about 3 1/2 months if I don't wash my hair everyday, which I don't do everyday anyway). And I must say, the treatment was absolutely fabulous. My hair is so soft and shiny. As you can see from the pic, I can't keep my hands out of it. And most miraculous of all, the fly-aways are tamed! Thank you, Honey!

And of course there was plenty of mischief and fun around the Lovejoy Homestead today. Here, LB is chasing a cat; she was holding a tissue and was trying to clean Kitty off.
There was also a trip to Mojave Narrows. Here's our little cowgirl on the range.
I love these two photos of LB with my parents. The pics make me so happy! And I love how LB holds onto a finger now when she's walking somewhere with someone. My dear little sweetness.

Miss LB was also taken out to eat . . .
and enjoyed a trip to the toy store. No, she's not going to be spoiled at all.
