Day 270: A Happy Little Friday

LB & I had a very happy little Friday together. We've been loving this cooler weather, which has meant a lot more outdoor time, including some sidewalk and porch chalk drawing this morning.
One of her masterpieces:
During her nap, I caught up on some housecleaning. I cleaned off the fridge, which had gathered quite the little collection of LB's artwork. Here are a couple of them documented for history before they found their way into the recycling bin. I know I should save them, but I hate saving sentimental little things like this that just sit around in boxes for years. At least I have photos of them now (and actually the little witch will get to hang around until after Halloween). I know G's not going to be happy that the other two are in the bin now!

Oh . . . who knows . . . maybe I'll get them out of the bin tomorrow!

Next up, we have one of today's highlights: the best cuddle on the couch ever! She had just had her evening bath, so she smelled wonderfully of baby soap. Sometimes I wish she still slept in our bed; she's just so cuddly and sweet. She's holding a dog-themed birthday card that I received from my brother Daniel. This kid is crazy about dogs (see below).
And Tom and I enjoyed one of our garden cucumbers in our salad tonight. I'm so pleased that things are actually growing in our little plot o' land.
These final three photos are all from last weekend with G and Grandpa.

A box of puppies?! LB must have been in heaven.
Going to visit Uncle Donald at work.
This photo is so sweet! LB loves her uncle!
