Farewell Dinner

Right about now, Nannie and Poppie are probably boarding a plane at LAX and will soon be whooshing back to Brisbane. I can't believe that their visit is over (and along with it, our first WA summer). I really do miss them. The house seems very quiet now that they're gone. And Ted's only been gone for a few hours and our backyard is already back to its usual state of disarray. Come back soon, you two!

Here are a few photos of our farewell dinner at Fiesta Jalisco, one of Port Angeles's few Mexican restaurants. Above, LB gets some cuddles with Nannie, and below, it's margarita time with my mother-in-law.
Cheers, Teddie! I'll miss both of you!
Check out these extravagant dishes! My shrimp enchiladas,
and Annie's burrito:
And here's something we don't see very often in the Pacific Northwest: a day sunny and warm enough to hang the laundry out to dry. In fact, the Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance may be the only family on the block with a clothesline!
