The above photo shows what Miss LB had in mind for her Sunday: laying on the couch, cuddling under some blankets, wearing her PJ's all day, and watching her favorite shows (I think that her favorite shows at the moment are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Thomas and Friends.)Unfortunately for her, Tom and I decided to make good on our New Year's resolution and we headed out of doors to get some fresh air and sunshine. We went to the Dungeness Spit, a wildlife refuge area that we visited with Nannie and Poppie when they were here in September. It was a great winter day for a hike. As you can guess, I took lots of photos.
I really like this picture of Tom. Now if only we could also see LB's pretty face!

There are probably way too many pictures of these deer, but Tom and I fell in love with them. The herd looked so beautiful down by the water.

LB wanted her picture taken in front of this recycling display. We didn't even have the camera out. She just said, "I need my picture here." She must really support recycling and conservation efforts!
These photos are from Saturday, but I just wanted to showoff LB in her green pinafore dress, an Xmas pressie from Uncle Donald. She saw it hanging in the closet and picked it out for Saturday. It looks very sweet.
